Intensely flavoured with notes of white peach, nectarine and lemon combined with subtle hints of spices and cream. A strong backbone of natural acidity provides vibrancy and a mineral line to a sweet and textured palate of impressive persistence.
Great with a smashed avocado and haloumi, gnocchi with sage butter, or chicken, pork or pasta in a creamy sauce (like a carbonara).
2016 was a vintage of high quality fruit with high tonnage, resulting in a complex wine showcasing intense fruit flavours, structured acidity and subtle oak nuances that reflect the interwoven nature of this multi-regional blend.
