Chardonnay

Pale straw in colour with vibrant yellow hues. Aromatic white stone fruit, with lemon curd and subtle oak tones. Intensely flavoured with notes of white peach, nectarine and lemon combined with subtle hints of spices and cream. A strong backbone of natural acidity provides vibrancy and a mineral line to a sweet and textured palate of impressive persistence.

Hardy believed that blending grapes with different characteristics would complement and enhance the qualities of each region.

Food Pairing

Great with a smashed avocado and haloumi, gnocchi with sage butter, or chicken, pork or pasta in a creamy sauce (like a carbonara).

From the Winemaker

2016 was a vintage of high quality fruit with high tonnage, resulting in a complex wine showcasing intense fruit flavours, structured acidity and subtle oak nuances that reflect the interwoven nature of this multi-regional blend.
